“Lisha Epperson is all heart and passion. She is full of grace and drenched in wisdom. Working with her — whether on a writing project, as a speaker, or as a performer — is a gift for all who are fortunate enough to have the experience. She is deeply grounded in truth and she pays careful attention to detail while creating an atmosphere of freedom and creativity. I cannot speak highly enough about Lisha, and I recommend her to you without hesitation.” – Deidra Riggs , founder – Jumping Tandem : the retreat
“I’ve never felt comfortable dancing, but I desire to worship God with all of me. In Lisha’s class, I experienced both the security and freedom to do just that. Her beauty and skill combined with her kindness and grace created a safe place and empowered my desire. It was a moving experience … physically and spiritually.”
– Kim Hyland, workshop participant Jumping Tandem : The Retreat
Lisha Epperson is a hopeful romantic, lover of Jesus and most things antique. A happy wife and mother of 5, she shares a warrior song about infertility and the semi-sweet miracle of adoption. A forever ballerina, Lisha’s credits include work with the Dance Theater of Harlem, Berkshire Ballet, New York Dance Theater and the Capitol Ballet of Washington, D.C. She is most proud of her work as a dance minister, working in New York City with World Changers Church and the Unbroken Chain Church Fellowship. Lisha works out a life of faith with fear and trembling and a fair measure of grace in New York City.
In The Waiting (on infertility and adoption)
Lisha shares the high’s and low’s of a faith journey that brought her a to deeper intimacy with God. Transparently told through a story of infertility and loss, Lisha shares how she moved through a painful waiting season to embrace motherhood as a step, adoptive and biological parent.
Embracing the Healing Rhythms of the Word
Beginning with a basic technical foundation dancers and would be dancers are encouraged to immerse themselves in the creative flow of a God who loves to dance. Acknowledging the healing and redemptive value of every gesture, students learn to offer their bodies in full praise. Connecting the rhythm of the word with music, students learn to move as a form of worship.
